For those patients who cannot come to Bali, the Smile team coordinates medical outreach so that doctors can perform surgeries at remote locations throughout eastern Indonesia. The visits are made in collaboration with local partners.

Whether due to the need to care for other family members or the inability to leave their primary source of income—such as farming or fishing—these families often find it difficult to seek the medical help they need.
