This is
Adiati from Maumere NTT, she is 38 years old suffer from Ameloblastoma. She was referred
to us by our friend from Australia who visited Maumere a few months ago. When
we got information about her, we contacted her immediately and asked her to
come on 16 September to Smile House and told her
that we wanted to send her to Women and Children’s Hospital Adelaide. She came
in a very poor condition, her jaw was swollen and
she couldn’t eat well, it was really difficult for
her to live in that way. After 8 years suffering, finally she went to Adelaide
on 24 October and had surgery on 4th November by Prof. David J.David
and team. The surgery was successful, the recovery process went so well that
the doctor allowed her back to Bali on 3rd December and she returned
to Maumere on 10th December. We are very happy that this surgery has
changed her life.
